Analysis
This movie is spot on with the ups and downs of middle school life. In one of the beginning scenes Greg asks who are these kids? It’s like invasions of the body snatchers they left for summer vacation looking like little kids now they look like monsters. His friend Rowley just wants to play, he is still a little boy in his heart. Greg wants to grow up, he is straddling the line between child and teen- The quintessential tween dilemma.
